The author Peter Eichhorn was so motivated following our 2010 DiAlogO Event commemorating the 125 year anniversary of the Kurfürstendamm, that he wrote a new book about the legendary boulevard.

Author Peter Eichhorn takes his reader on an entertaining tour over the legendary boulevard, considered the Prussian equivalent to the Champs Elysée and the favorite address for the Rich and Richest.
The first part of the book provides a classic journey through time: from the time of the Kaisers, through the golden 20’s, the Allied Forces Parades post 1945, the student demonstrations of 1968 up to the first “Love Parade” in 1989.
The second half concentrates on the present. Useful tips for your next “KuDamm Stroll”, along with names and addresses of traditional businesses, shops, restaurants and cafés are provided for those seeking a deeper appreciation over the Steakhouse and Optical chains stores that have moved in. Future projects, ideas and plans for the historic avenue are presented at the close."
